Last week The Business Coaching, Mentoring & Training Centre sponsored the Corporate and Social Responsibility Award at the EADT Business Awards 2017. We had some strong applicants, and narrowed it down to our three finalists – Breheny Civil Engineering, Elite Swimming Academy, and Suffolk Life. After much deliberation, Suffolk Life deservedly retained the award for the second year running.
We, at the BCMT Centre, are now on a mission to help more local businesses with their CSR practice so that we can see even stronger applications next year. We have adopted the CSR guidelines set out in ISO 2600:2010 and have devised various programmes to allow SME’s to present the elements of corporate citizenship in the wider business sense. Many businesses are already able to demonstrate a number of activities in the key areas; however, they may not be consciously forming a clear CSR strategy and operational practice. Our coaching programmes strategize, educate, communicate, and implement these into the everyday practices of the businesses which see this arena as an opportunity for growing their business.
We are sure that many of your practices fit in the ISO 2600:2010 already, and we can help you to evaluate your own activities and improve on them where necessary.
Our next Introduction to CSR Workshop is on 25th September. If you would like to find out more about the topics covered or to book your place (only 10 places available) please click here:
